Originally from Northern Virginia, Julie Dawn studied cosmetology and became a licensed cosmetologist & barber at the age of 18. She studied with Aveda, Paul Mitchell, Roffler International, and Zegarelli Bros. She was trained in Artec, Framesi, Goldwell, Lanza, Pravana, Redken, Sebastian, Wella hair color lines, L’Oréal, and Simply Organic Oway line of color, perms, relaxers, facials, and product line.
Julie Dawn relocated from Northern Virginia to the City of Fredericksburg to further her career as a beautician and barber.
Wanting to expand her skills, she successfully completed massage therapy with 500 hours in Swedish massage, and later added 769 hours in advanced massage modalities, at the Virginia School of Massage located in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Dane was born in Texas with a creative mind and artistic vision, moving to Virginia at the age of 3 he attended high school in Stafford where he acquired his cosmetology license. Dane has worked with countless color lines including: Wella, Schwarzkopf, Redken, Matrix, and Lanza. He has now decided to step into the world of holistic hair care with Oway at Cardinal Day Spas, he is always excited to learn new techniques and ideas, and he continues to innovate his craft every day..
Erin comes to us from Connecticut where she has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for the past six years. Having graduated from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, Mass., she is well practiced in the modalities of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage. Erin holds additional certificates in Elaine Stillerman’s Mother Massage: Massage During Pregnancy, Tina Allen’s Liddle Kidz Infant Massage Teacher Training, Infant Massage with Special Healthcare Needs, and Pediatric Massage. She also enjoys Chair Massage, using this particular skill not only for corporate events and private parties but also as a vendor at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire. Erin looks forward to helping and healing each individual that she encounters on this new path in Virginia.
Chuck is a retired small business owner from Northern Virginia. He has more than twenty years of experience starting and operating a personal training business.
Chuck, Julie Dawn, and her older brother were friends growing up in Northern Virginia. Thirty-seven years later while searching for her brother Chuck found both Julie and her brother.
Circumstances led to a business partnership with Julie Dawn with each utilizing their areas of expertise. Chuck’s expertise with accounting, direct marketing, and advertising gave him a leg up on helping to start another business in a different field.
“The biggest challenges I have faced so far are getting everything done, learning the industry’s special software, and web-based advertising. When I finally have time, I’ll be taking a web-site design class.”
